The Islamic State militants launched an offensive on the eastern entrance of the Lybian strategic city of Misrata on Sunday. As result, four security personnel were killed and three others were wounded. 9 civilians and 35 militias have been killed in shelling in the Donetsk People's Republic over past week, the DPR human rights ombudsperson said in latest report. Also, 8 civilians and 29 militias have been hospitalized with wounds. Earlier on Friday, DPR defence ministry spokesman Eduard Basurin reported twenty servicemen had been killed and 99 more had been wounded in hostilities in the town of Maryinka. Meanwhile, DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko said Ukraine's losses in manpower had exceeded 400 servicemen, more than 1,000 had been wounded. Intensive battlefield involving Ukrainian troops and Novorossian warriors have been reporting from Maryinka, Shirokino and settlements around Donetsk.

A police freak show is continuing in 'the freest country in the world'. On June 5, a McKinney, Texas police officer threw a black bikini-clad teenager to the ground and chased her friends with a gun.
